Private Home | Tasha Seccombe
I have been so inspired by colour and texture and all forms of art lately, that the opportunity to combine floral art with paintings and prints and go colour mad really appeal to me, and the only person I know would not mind us trying all this madness out on her, would of course by my incredibly beautiful pregnant sister Silke.
One day before her due date Tasha, Yolande and the Fleur le Cordeur team had four hours to capture this amazingness which symbolises a real need to live life to the full, to embrace the wildness that is out there and to encourage combining crazy colours and elements in such a way that the person looking at these images don’t feel restless, but feel at peace. To still go wild but create extreme beauty. That is always my aim!
Michelle-Lize from Die Boomhuis Art gallery in Stellenbosch painted these incredible murals on her walls, and combining her paintings with that just created a visual feast form all angles. Thank you for being such a relaxed enthusiastic host while we played in your private space! And even introduced Liefie the goat into your home! We could never have created this look without your master pieces!
Little Benn was born 6 days over due, he is just the most adorable little boy and I am sure he is going to look back at these images one day and think: What a beautiful mommy I have, and my aunty is nuts! ;)
Too much love for this family of mine, as well as the team who are as close to family as there is. Every shoot, every coffee, every giggle is what makes life as abundant as these images!
